Chief Ingredients : Khadira, Vakuchi,
Pippali, Maricha, Nagara.
Indication : It is an excellent
medicine for chronic skin
ailments. It is useful in Leucoderma,
Psoriasis, Pruritus and Leprosy. It is also a good anthelmintic.
KUTAJARISHTA
(B. R. Atisaradhikara)
Chief Ingredients : Kutaja, Madhuca,
Draksha, Gambhari.
Indication : It is a very good
remedy for Dysentery, Diarrhoea and Sprue. It is especially useful in controlling
long standing diarrhoea and dysentery which fail to respond to other
remedies.
JEERAKADYARISHTA
(B.R. Streerogadhikara)
Chief Ingredients : Krishna Jeeraka,
Jeeraka.
Indication : It is mainly recommended
for postnatal use in women. It effectively controls diarrhoea, occuring
in the period following delivery. It is also a good appetiser and used
as a galactogogue.
